HIV testing campaign at the Sierra Leone cultural fiesta Pictures of this event

The African cultural fiesta was hosted under the grand chief patronage of H.E the Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone - Solomon E. Berea. This event took place at the Brixton's recreation centre on Saturday the 9th September 2006.

WoManBeing was one of the main sponsors for this event and used this event to campaign for HIV/AIDS Testing. Our aim was to create awareness and encourage HIV testing within the African community. People knowing their HIV status is one of the main steps forward to fight HIV/AIDS and eradicate this disease.

Mr. Mohamed Haji Kella - Coordinator of WoManBeing Concern received an award of recognition for his dedication and hard work serving his community. The award was presented by H E the Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

Other organisations present at this event were the Uganda Aids Action Fund (UAAF). WoManBeing Concern is happy to work with any other organization to promote awareness on issues of HIV/AIDS.
